During the first session we will have to color correct your lips to cancel out the cool tones. This means the initial color we tattoo MUST be orange! If we are to tattoo any other color, you risk darkening your lips further or having absolutely no results at all. When healed at 6 weeks, most if not all of the darkness in your lips will be covered and your lips will have a nude/pink even tone. Note that results cannot be guaranteed and lightening, or evening out dark lips may take a few sessions. Under no circumstances will we tattoo a “NUDE” color on dark or cool toned lips. If you are unsure if you have dark or cool toned lips you can send us a picture of your lips in natural light to confirm.

• DO NOT work out 24 hours before procedure
• DO NOT Sun tan or use tanning beds one week prior to the procedure
•  DO NOT take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 48 hours before the procedure.
• STOP Retin A, Alpha Hydroxy Acid at least 6 weeks before the procedure.
• DO NOT consume alcohol, caffeine or stimulants 48 hours prior the procedure.
• You must wait at least 1 month after lip fillers before having the procedure. It is possible to have poor color retention in lips that have had injections. Lip fillers can be done 6 weeks after touch up.
•  You must wait 1 month after lip implants and get a written clearance from your surgeon before the procedure.
• Begin your Antiviral Medication 3 days prior to your procedure.

*If you are prone to getting cold sores, you will need an antiviral prescription. Physicians usually instructs to begin taking it 3 days before the permanent makeup procedure, for a 7-10 day period.

Please Note: you will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

It is always important for us to attend an initial consultation with our PMU Artist Mihaela Rankova. This allows both sides to truly understand what you hope to achieve from the treatment. It is also a chance to explain exactly how the process works, and what you can expect by the end of the entire course.

Our PMU Artist Mihaela Rankova creates an outline of the future symmetrical lips’ form and applies an anesthetic cream, which will begin to work in 15 minutes.

Using special modern machine, artist applies the selected pigment with a sterile disposable module, working on the contour and filling the shape of the lips.

Artist explains aftercare details and offers to make a touch up in 4-6 weeks.

Right after procedure, the lips look brighter than after healing. Swelling may occur. Lips will fade up to 70% in the process of healing.

And on the touch up, you can add the color and improve the shape to obtain an impeccable result.

During this appointment we will assess your natural lip color and shape, and help you choose a suitable pigment shade. She will also explain the procedure, discuss any pre-treatment instructions, and address any concerns or questions you may have.

For this consultation appointment we will charge CHF 120.-/h.

In the majority of cases half an hour is sufficient ( CHF 60).
